House Rules

1 All rules are at the GM’s discretion
2 Rules will make sense. For example an 8th level wizard never misses on his magic missile spell unless something incredible is happening like they have had both their hands cut off and are being tortured to death while a lion eats their legs. They have been doing it to long to make not know how to do that.
3 Unless you are wearing medium or heavy armor your spells are not affected. Seriously I have put on some heavy armor. I can wave my hands all I want in it. I can run and do all that stuff while being shot at in fact I run faster when I am being shot at. So armor that does not reasonable restrict your ability to wave hands and make gestures consistent with magic does not incur any penalties.
4 One player will help me the GM keep track of initiative cause I got so many other things to do.
5 Roll Battle rolls as soon as you feel like it. Lets get this thing going. The game is for fun so I expect you to be honest
6 Ingenuity when doing things will most likely lead the gods to smile on you. Think of new and crazy ways to solve a puzzle or kill a bad guy like instead of firing the ballista at the troll you light it and yourself on fire (after drinking a potion of protection from fire) and jump off the roof onto him and I guarantee that if you miss that sucker he is gonna run away screaming like a baby!
7 Your background will be decided before the game actually starts to some extent and will involve some negatives and positives which I as GM will add to or subtract a few skill points here and there. For example if you say you were always an animal lover and had dogs growing up and have one now. It will probably be very loyal and will follow you and will in fact know at least two tricks from the standard trick list. In addition you will probably get a point free in handle animal. Or if you spent all your youth outside you will get a free skill point in survival. If you love to climb trees a free point in climb. This is to allow you to personalize with out having to lose all sense of identity for them. However this will only happen at the beginning. So do not think you can come up with some back story later just when you needed to know how to pick locks about being the poor kid on the street etc…
8 Note takers get an extra 5% xp per session.
9 Death may happen do not be stupid.
10 I will take suggestions as the game progresses I am not perfect do not expect it from me and I will not expect it from you.
